Authorship & Ethical Responsibilities at QuiLive Publishers

At QuiLive Publishers, we hold our authors to the highest standards of academic integrity and scientific responsibility. Authors are expected to take full accountability for the accuracy, reliability, and relevance of the data and findings presented in their manuscripts. We encourage a writing style that is clear, concise, and free of jargon to ensure accessibility for readers outside a specific specialty and for those whose first language is not English. Editors may suggest improvements to enhance clarity, strengthen arguments, and refine structure, but our editorial process is designed to be supportive rather than intrusive. Authors are encouraged to maintain their own voice and determine how best to present their ideas, findings, and conclusions.

While we welcome submissions from around the world, all manuscripts must be submitted in English. Authors whose first language is not English may contact us for guidance. To help overcome language barriers, we also encourage authors to provide full-text or abstract translations in other languages upon acceptance. These will be published as supporting information alongside the article.

Expectations for Submissions

  • Authors must present original research findings, ensuring the data is verifiable, reproducible, and supported by appropriate citations. Figures, tables, and supplementary materials should be clear, precise, and capable of being independently validated.
  • Reusing previously published data—whether one’s own or another’s—without proper acknowledgment is strictly prohibited. Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. Authors are advised to consult the scope of the intended journal before submission and reach out to the editorial office with any questions regarding suitability.

Authorship Criteria

All contributors listed as authors must have made meaningful contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. Authorship should be based on one or more of the following:

  • Study design and planning
  • Execution of experiments or research
  • Data collection, analysis, and interpretation
  • Drafting or revising the manuscript
  • Project leadership or principal investigation

Every individual who played a significant role in the completion of the work must be appropriately credited.

A designated corresponding author must be identified, who will serve as the primary point of contact for all editorial communications. This person is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the submission, addressing ethical questions, and managing any post-publication issues.

Transparency and Disclosure

Authors must fully disclose:

  • The origin of all third-party data and previously unpublished material
  • Any permissions required for reuse of copyrighted content
  • All sources of financial support, including grant numbers or institutional funding
  • Any financial or personal relationships that could be perceived as potential conflicts of interest

Consent from copyright holders must be secured and submitted once the manuscript is accepted or undergoing minor revisions.

Ethical Conduct and Corrections

By submitting to QuiLive Publishers, authors affirm that their manuscript is not being considered elsewhere and has not been published previously. They also agree to comply with editorial requests regarding authorship verification, source validation, or concerns about originality.

If errors or ethical issues are identified pre- or post-publication, authors are expected to cooperate with the editorial team in issuing corrections (errata) or retractions when necessary.
